WBO super middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders believes UFC celebrity Conor McGregor would do critical damage on Youtuber Jake Paul – if the two of them come together for a boxing fit.
last month, Paul raised his boxing record to 2-0, with 2 KOs, when he brutally knocked out NBA veteran Nate Robinson in two rounds. the contest became the pay-per-view co-characteristic to the excessive profile exhibition clash between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones.
The 23-yr-historical Paul has now been chasing down McGregor for a boxing fit.
He despatched McGregor a guarantee of $50 million to do the fight – and Paul claims to have proof of money to again up the offer.
“My team despatched you a $50 million present this morning, $50 million cash, proof of dollars, the biggest battle offer you’ve ever been offered. but you are scared to battle me Conor. You duck me as you’re scared to combat a YouTuber. you might be 0-1 as a boxer, i am 2-0 as a boxer. I simply came off the eighth-largest pay-per-view adventure in heritage,” Paul pointed out.
while McGregor has stayed quiet, several different UFC names – like Amanda Nunes and Michael Bisping – have raised their arms to fight Paul.
McGregor made his boxing debut in August of 2017, when he become stopped in ten rounds by Floyd Mayweather.
Saunders believes McGregor would basically do a bunch on Paul.
“You don’t in reality need them throwing punches at each and every other as a result of i can see [McGregor] knock a person out bloodless, that fella [Paul] by no means had a combat in his existence. that you could evidently see boxing is not a playground. I believe Conor McGregor will spark him and harm him bad in UFC or boxing. I still think Conor McGregor takes him bad, to be honest,” Saunders told IFL television.
“in the event that they’re looking at, what is it? 50 million? Conor McGregor should go and whoop his ass and take that off him because it’ll be very relaxed. but it surely’s very dangerous [for the safety of Paul]. if they’re all going to make money and the promoters are going to place in on, who am I to say it be now not respectable?”
